October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

Breast cancer doesn’t just affect adults - learning about it early helps us all protect our health and support those we love.

💡 Why it matters:
Knowing the facts empowers you to take charge of your body and be there for others. Early detection saves lives - and awareness starts with YOU.

✨ Know your body:
Everyone should know what’s normal for them. While full self-checks are usually for adults, teens can still learn to notice changes (like new lumps, swelling, or pain) and talk to a trusted adult or healthcare provider if something feels off.

Together, we can spread knowledge, show compassion, and make a difference. 🌸

Today is World Bullying Prevention Day - a day to stand up, speak out, and show that kindness, respect, and inclusion are always stronger than hate. 🌍💙

No one deserves to feel small or left out. Together, we can create a culture where everyone feels seen, supported, and safe!

September is Childhood Obesity Awareness Awareness Month 💛

It’s a time to reflect on how we can support the whole health and well-being of children and teens - including compassionate awareness of childhood obesity and related health challenges.

✨ Let’s shift the conversation from blame to support.
Health isn’t just about food or exercise - it’s shaped by community, emotions, access, and how safe and seen young people feel in their own bodies.

Instead of focusing on weight, we can promote body-positive, inclusive approaches to health that meet teens where they are.

📣Remember: healthy habits aren’t about changing your body - they’re about feeling good in it, caring for your mental health, and finding what works for you.

🌍 Today we observe World S*xual Health Day-because teen health includes s*xual health! 🌟

September 4, 2025 marks a powerful opportunity to remind ourselves: s*xual health is about more than just ‘avoiding problems.’ It’s about knowing your rights, having access to honest information, and making empowered decisions- with dignity and respect for yourself and others.

Teens, caregivers, educators- together we can create safer spaces, support inclusive education, and ensure no one is left behind. S*xual justice means s*xual health for ALL.
