We’ll be celebrating with pizza! We’re planning for two slices per person, just like last year. While we did have enough for seconds last time, we don’t want to make any promises — so please plan to bring your own sides to enjoy with your pizza, as well as your own drink.

Thursday, February 12 – Valentine’s Day Dance 💖

There will be no meal provided
Pop and candy bars will be available for $1 each
Please bring exact change (no change will be available)

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and all who cared and loved our friend Dana. Especially our Northstar friends.
He loved the Huskers, talk about his hats, and would point to you and let people know you were his friend!
Rest in Peace Dana, say hi to LeRoy for us!

We understand how frustrating it can be when you’re trying to find support for your loved one, and we truly empathize with families navigating these challenges. However, we’d like to clarify that The Arc of Norfolk does not provide direct services, including respite care or direct support services.

While we’re unable to offer those services ourselves, we are here to help in other meaningful ways. We can provide guidance, share resources, and connect you with organizations that may be able to support you and your loved one. We also offer social and recreational activities for the whole family.

What makes our organization unique is that every person involved — from our Executive Director to our Board members — has firsthand experience supporting an individual with disabilities. We understand these challenges not just professionally, but personally.

We kindly ask that you please be respectful and understanding toward our staff, who are doing everything they can to support our community. Thank you for being part of The Arc of Norfolk 💙
