Eastern Officials Association provides umpires for all levels of baseball in the greater Hampton Roads region of Virginia.

Eastern Officials Association (EOA) Baseball Umpires are dedicated to providing the highest quality officiating for all levels of competition in the greater Hampton Roads area, including parts of eastern Virginia and North Carolina. EOA umpires include officials with professional, collegiate, scholastic, and recreation experience. Our intense training program is designed to provide both new and ve

teran umpires with the skills, mechanics, and rules needed to effectively officiate baseball in a professional manner. EOA Baseball Umpires are certified to officiate: NCAA, NFHS (VHSL), PONY, Little League, American Legion, AAU, Nations, and USSSA.

The postseason is a magical place where teams compete and umpires are rewarded for their hard work over the last 5 months starting with preseason clinics and cage sessions. Congrats to all of our guys working postseason games over the next month!

EOA has 4 of our umpires traveling to Florida this weekend to attend umpire school. We are cheering for each of them to do well and grow as people and umpires. This will be one of the best times of your lives!!

There’s a connection umpires share that’s unique. We are competing but cheering for each other. We bond over the work we put in and the families we represent and support. And whether we are on a youth field, high school field, college or professional, we recognize those of us who put in the work to get better and let that desire drive us.
