The Faith Regional Foundation has once again been granted funds by For the Girls to support the battle against breast cancer in northeast Nebraska.

The Appearance Center was gifted $10,000 to provide post-mastectomy bras, breast prostheses, and lymphedema sleeves to breast cancer patients free of charge. Additionally, For the Girls awarded $9,850 for a SaBella Flex Breast Board, which offers more positioning options than standard systems, improving image accuracy and patient comfort. And finally, $61,000 was gifted for Sentimag Magseed Surgical Equipment. This offers better pinpoint positioning, allowing for less tissue removal and smaller incisions, improving hidden scar surgery. It also assists in finding key lymph nodes more accurately. This could potentially delay the need for a biopsy, so that fewer people will need more invasive surgery under the arm, which can lower the risk of lymphedema.

The Foundation is so grateful to be a recipient of these funds from such a great organization. Your support in helping Faith Regional Health Services best serve breast cancer patients is monumental!

The Pearl Gala is Saturday, April 25th. All net proceeds will fund the purchase of patient room sofa sleepers in the Bed Tower at Faith Regional Health Services.
