With baseball season coming up, we learned a bit more about the history of America’s pastime with our friend Mr. Derrick Jones! ⚾ 🧢

As an avid baseball fan and collector, he taught us a lot about the history of Negro League Baseball and how Jackie Robinson revolutionized the sport that we love today.

His impressive collection and vast knowledge of the game got us ready for opening day! 🤩

Checking off items on our resident's 2026 bucket lists ✅

Pamela, one of our residents, had a special dream to perform live as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, so we made it happen.

Earlier this week, she brought that dream to life with an amazing performance of songs from the classic film. 🎶🌈

Our Resident Program Director, Dana, and Resident Program Assistant, Matt, joined the fun as the Cowardly Lion and Scarecrow.

It was a beautiful performance that would make Judy Garland proud. ✨

Although the winter weather has made a return, that didn't stop our sweet tooth from acting up.

Robert and Lori, on our Dining Services team, put together a sundae bar for our residents to pick their toppings and flavor as we all got excited for warmer days ahead!

Our newest centenarian, Yvonne, celebrated her 100th birthday earlier this month and even had a few surprise visitors! 🥳 🎂

As Yvonne is an active member in their Senior Watch Program, the Norfolk Sheriff's Office stopped by to join the party. 👮

Yvonne says the secret to living 100 years is to keep a positive attitude and stay happy. We're so lucky to have her in our . A big happy birthday and congrats on this milestone!

With the spring season coming up, our residents were looking to make something to reflect the beautiful colors we'll see! ⛅🍓

Fruit Salad was an obvious choice and it was yummy yummy! Everyone was excited to help our Resident Program Assistant, Matt, prepare the delicious snack!
