Social Workers are often the connection between families, residents, and staff at nursing homes and rehabilitation communities. They are always there to provide resources, give the residents they work with a friendly ear, and advocate each day for resident rights.

We interviewed two social workers to learn more about social work and what the daily life in their field looks like. Our Mardi Gras celebration brought the spirit of New Orleans right into our home! Everyone enjoyed a delicious serving of jambalaya while festive music filled the room. We had a fun Mardi Gras trivia game, and everyone competed to win colorful beads. There was lots of laughter, friendly competition, and great food, making it a lively and memorable celebration for all!

We enjoyed stopping by our fun “Hershey Kisses” kissing booth for a sweet treat and a few laughs. With music playing, delicious food, and refreshing drinks, the room was filled with joy, smiles, and plenty of heartwarming memories!
