We have something to be thankful for every day but today we are extra thankful for Jeanne!

She came to us with a broken hip and weakness….and headed home today with her son!

In her short stay, she won the hearts of all who worked here and gained some lifetime friends! She worked hard in therapy everyday and never lost sight of her goals!

Jeanne promised us she would come back to visit and we sure hope she does! We wish her nothing but the best!

What is Skilled Nursing?

It is specialized care that involves medical and nursing services, as well as therapy.

Example:

Your mom falls and breaks her hip. She has lost a lot her strength while being in the hospital and she's nervous to return home, by herself. She can come to St. Joe's for a short term stay, where our nurses will help make sure her wound heals correctly, while therapy focuses on strength and rehab so she can return home with confidence.
