The term “plastic” in plastic surgery has nothing to do with the material. It comes from the Greek word plastikos, meaning to mold or shape. My goal in every procedure is to restore balance and harmony, not create something artificial.

One of my patients did a great job of explaining her consult process and I think it's important to hear from actual patients on what to expect!

Many patients are surprised to learn how much posture and core strength improve after a tummy tuck. Repairing separated abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) doesn’t just enhance your appearance, it also supports better alignment and balance.

It’s functional and cosmetic in one.

Jami is a dear friend of Beth’s and mine and her family is in need of support, prayers, and all the good vibes as they navigate her sister’s health crisis. Every little bit helps 🙏🏾

Hello all, Sara here. Thank you for your flexibility this week while Jami has been out of the office with her family, we really appreciate it! Many of you asked how you could help or support Jami, please see below for an update on her sister, Brooke. 🙏🏼

Dear friends, family, and community,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for Brooke, Nick, and their girls, Thea and Norah, as they face an unexpected and frightening health crisis.

Recently, Brooke was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the ICU due to a sudden medical emergency. This has been an incredibly difficult time for their family as Brooke continues to receive critical care and fights for her life. She had what started as a simple infection that rapidly progressed to life-threatening tissue death, sepsis and overactive clotting disorder. She is currently on life support and has had multiple surgeries this week.

With Brooke unable to work and Nick doing everything he can to be by her side and care for their daughters (who turn 2 and 5 years old this weekend!), the family is facing significant financial strain. Living expenses, medical bills, and the costs of recovery are adding up quickly.

We’re asking for your help — whether through a donation, sharing this message, or offering prayers and encouragement — to help ease their burden and allow them to focus on what matters most: Brooke’s healing and their family’s wellbeing. We elected to use Venmo to avoid the percentage taken by other donation sites.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping cover:

-Ongoing medical and hospital expenses
-Household and living costs while Brooke recovers
-Support for their two young girls during this difficult time

Brooke and Nick are the kind of people who show up for others — kind, selfless, and full of love. Now, it’s our turn to show up for them.

Thank you for keeping them in your thoughts and for any support you can give. Your kindness means more than words can express.

Keep the prayers, thoughts, and good vibes coming 🙏🏼d r

Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure. The number and location of ALL the fat cells in your body was predetermined at birth.

So, with liposuction we are removing unwanted fat cells and they WILL NOT come back. If you gain/lose weight after liposuction, you'll gain/lose it more proportionally.

Scarring is one of the most common concerns I hear before surgery. I take great care with incision placement and closure technique to minimize scarring and promote natural healing.

With proper aftercare, scars typically fade beautifully over time.

Fun fact: eyelid surgery is often performed in under two hours. A small change can make a huge impact on your appearance and even help with vision if drooping lids are in the way.
