I have been debating how my role as a therapist can best support the SNAP Shut Off.
So many of the families and individuals I work with receive SNAP or EBT benefits that carry their household's livelihood for a number of reasons. So many in various communities go without benefits despite their desperate need.

I have decided that part of my job is to connect people to not only my services but also other readily available community resources.
That being said, please reach out to me if you need emotional and/or mental health assistance; for other forms of help, here is a list of Norfolk area agencies that provide Food Pantry services.
