On Friday, Eggleston joined community leaders at the groundbreaking for the Housing Resource Center in Portsmouth—a powerful reminder of why our work, and the broader nonprofit ecosystem, matters so deeply.

Projects like this sit at the intersection of housing stability, health, workforce participation, and human dignity. They don’t happen without sustained leadership and true cross-sector commitment.

Portsmouth has borne a disproportionate share of housing and homelessness challenges, so seeing the community come together around a resource and housing center is no small thing. It’s progress worth celebrating—and momentum worth continuing.
