SunHive Collective creates a safe and inviting space for young adults with disabilities (ages 18-30) to grow in their daily living, social, and transitional skills. Each person’s individual and unique abilities are cultivated and fostered through organic, hands-on experiences that help them to thrive in each area, while building meaningful relationships within the community. Our Vision includes {and is ever evolving}:
- Fostering a safe and encouraging environment, for every person encountered {yes, each and every day}
– Growth within each individual, based on their unique social and independent qualities.
– Developing meaningful, productive job skills with hands on experience.
– Partnering with programs within our community to help promote inclusiveness
and exposure to various areas of real life.

Take home all of your seedlings and blooms to add to your own garden or planters & enjoy a treat as you watch them flourish 🌿🌞

Things got exciting today at the Hive, as Brady led a super fun game of “Guess That Song Lyric” 🎧🙌

🦻🏽Our friends listened closely, sang-a-long & then tried to be the first to guess the song🧐 The room was full of laughter, tunes, and lots of great guesses 🎵😄

Spring is in the air at SunHive & we are enjoying the new life blooming here at the farm 🌷

🐝Today, our Members took a quick trip to Atwoods, picking up gardening & animal supplies–we have to make sure that our furry 🫏🐐and feathery🐓 friends have everything that they need before the rain rolls in 🌦️🌾

👉🏽Continuing with our practice, the team put their skills to good use & worked together like the all stars that they are🦾🏆

👉🏽From the choosing of items–to checking out at the register–everyone did a bee-utiful job of getting SunHive reloaded for the week✅

While we shopped, we also had a chance to practice our —greeting others👋🏽, asking appropriate questions💬, and working together as a team to find the items on our lists📋

Story time magic rolled into Sunhive today ❤️📚✨

Our friends from Little Red Wagon stopped by & brought the sweetest spring stories, big smiles, and so much joy to all of our members 🌷🌼🐝

From giggles during silly parts to wide eyes during the best pages, it was pure sunshine in story form ☀️💛

We’re so grateful for friends who bring imagination, laughter, and a little extra sparkle to our hive!

SunHive takes on the wild with the besties 🐆💛 We met all of our group goals for January & decided we wanted to go see some of our favorite things🎉👀

We spent the day at the Oklahoma City Zoo spotting exotic animals, serving safari-core looks & practicing our social skills, one convo at a time 🦒✨

From lions to laughter, it was all about stepping out of our comfort zones, making new memories, and letting our confidence roar 🐯🎀
