Thanks for 3 years! 🤍🥂

Three-years-ago me would not believe the places this has taken me, the stories I’ve heard, or the amazing people I’ve met along the way. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my dreams a reality. 🫶🏼

The simple truth about why your pain keeps coming back: you aren’t doing your 💩!

We’re often told that one perfect stretch or exercise will “fix” pain forever, but most of us spend hours a day sitting, standing, scrolling, driving, and working in the same repetitive positions, year after year 🍤 Our bodies adapt to those demands. They tighten in some areas and shift in others to become more efficient, but those adaptations don’t always support a pain-free body ☹️

This isn’t meant to be discouraging, but realistic. You don’t need to avoid your job or your daily life. You need to promote a ✨diverse movement profile✨by consistently giving your body the movement it’s missing so it can adapt in a more balanced way ⚖️

The supplement routine that no one asked for 🤓

I share this because I’m big on transparency, and because where you buy supplements matters just as much as what you take. 💊

I’ve used Fullscript for the last 3 years because they carry ✨professional-grade, third-party tested supplements✨ with clear sourcing and dosing. This means there are no filler blends, no retail markup, and no guessing what you’re actually getting 🤔

Fullscript keeps costs more affordable by operating as a virtual dispensary (no storefronts or retail overhead) and by offering provider-level pricing. Ordering through your provider’s link includes a built-in 15% discount! You can find mine at the link in bio for access to trustworthy, no-BS supps 😜

If pain meant damage, most people would be falling apart 🫣 Pain has more to do with our daily habits over actual “injuries” than most people will ever grasp.

Swipe to read the 4 things I wish people knew about pain. Need help and guidance on how to make real, lasting change? I’ve got you covered! 🫡 Link in bio to book, or drop your email for info on my upcoming mobility guide! 📲

Closing out with ✨Arms and Chest: Banded Edition✨

Check out these arm staples with a set of bands! Feel free to modify movements with band tension, body positioning, or little tweaks here and there.

Just a reminder that it IS possible to make progress with bands, so long as you stay true to progressive overload. For bands specifically, you’ll have to move to a heavier resistance band or up those reps 💪🏼

Being a one-woman show means I wear all the hats- chiropractor, receptionist, scheduler, social media manager, the whole deal 💁🏻‍♀️

And YES, that’s a very intentional choice. Keeping Motive small and personal allows me to stay deeply involved in every part of your care 🤍

What does this mean for you? You get one person who knows your story, your progress, your goals, and your quirks from start to finish. There are no handoffs between techs and providers, no repeating yourself to different departments, and no getting lost in the hand-off, just individualized care and consistency every step of the way.

Side note: Being a one-woman show also means if you need to reach me, text or email is usually best. I’m often in session with patients, so this helps me stay present during appointments and get back to you as soon as I can without playing phone tag 😊

Diaphragm breathing is in, and chest breathing is out! 😮‍💨

One of the key puzzle pieces in kicking neck pain to the curb is looking at our breathing habits. Constant chest breathing is chronically overworking the muscles of our neck and chest, and keeping our nervous systems on 10! Learning to breathe with our diaphragm can be absolutely life changing for those with chronic neck and chest tension. 🫁

Yes, I know you’ve been breathing all your life. And YES, I’m here to tell you that you’ve been doing it wrong. Don’t knock it ’til you really try it! 😌
