✨Unpopular things I do as a chiropractor✨

👉🏼 I work for you, not your insurance company.
That means decisions are made based on what you need, not what someone else will or won’t cover.

👉🏼 I spend 30 minutes to an hour with everyone.
Because an actual assessment and actual meaningful progress takes time.

👉🏼 I don’t prescribe high frequency care plans.
You shouldn’t feel dependent on care to function. That’s a bandaid, not a real fix. The goal is to help you need me less, not more.

👉🏼 I don’t adjust everyone.
Not everyone needs any adjustment. My approach includes a bigger toolbox than just adjustments.

👉🏼 I aim for individualized care, not volume.
No assembly line. No one-size-fits-all. Just care that treats you like a person and not a number on the schedule.

Posture Braces ❌ Tools for Building Postural Awareness ✅

Posture braces offload all the work from muscles we need to be strengthening, leaving them further deconditioned 👎🏼

People have lots of opinions about KT tape, but I love it from the perspective of building postural awareness.

Keep in mind, shrimpy posture is NOT the enemy here, but *too much time* in shrimpy posture can be 🍤 Tape is a fantastic tool to show you exactly how much of your day you’re spending that way. If you’re constantly wearing your shoulders as earrings, this tape job is gonna let you know! 🥲
