🚑💓 BIG NEWS: Life-Saving Training Returns! 💓🚑

Thanks to donor support, the NRH Foundation provided new CPR manikins (4 Adult and 4 infant) and AED ultra trainers to our Education Center!

With these tools, staff can keep their BLS certification current internally! And we just hosted the first in-person AHA training since 2020, keeping lifesaving skills in our community accessible and affordable.

🌟 Welcome, Tena Coppedge! 🌟

The NRH Foundation is excited to welcome our newest Board Member, Tena Coppedge!
A fourth-generation Normanite, Tena’s connection to Norman Regional runs deep. She was born at Porter, and so were her parents and children. Today, she calls Blanchard home and serves as Vice President of Global Supply Chain Manufacturing at Hitachi Vantara.

Tena is joining our Foundation Board with a passion to ensure that Norman Regional continues to be a positive influence on the health and well-being of our communities. We are so grateful for her leadership, heart for service, and commitment to giving back. 💜 Thank you, Tena, for volunteering your time and talents to make a difference for generations to come!

Meet another truly dedicated Foundation scholarship recipient: Amy Hawley ✨

With 15 years in Labor & Delivery, Amy has cared for countless mothers and babies and turned her heartbreak over the loss of a patient into fuel for change. From writing OB Emergency policies, to teaching nationally, to pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Amy is working to make sure every mother has the best experience at Norman Regional. 💜

We are proud to support Amy’s journey awarding her with the Mike Bumgarner Scholarship and the Evanna Esadooah Memorial Scholarship. We are so grateful to the donors whose generosity makes it possible to empower incredible nurses like her. Together, we are building a brighter future for mothers, babies, and families in our community. Keep up the good work, Amy!

👶The Foundation and generous donors recently awarded a grant to our Imaging ECHO department for a light projector, tablet mount, and children’s table. These additions help create a more calming environment for pediatric patients, improving image quality and making diagnoses easier for physicians.

We are so glad to hear about the impact of this technology keeping children calm and cozy during their heart scans. ✨Because sometimes the smallest comforts make the biggest difference. 💖

🌟 Congratulations, Briana Helling! 🌟

The NRH Foundation is proud to award the Durica Family Scholarship to Briana Helling, LPN, in support of her journey to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Bri’s passion for nursing began in 2021, during a challenging NICU experience with her youngest daughter. The compassionate care she received inspired her to become that same kind of nurse for others. Now, as a dedicated LPN at Norman Regional and a full-time student in East Central University’s LPN-to-BSN program, Briana balances clinicals, classes, and caring for her blended family of SIX children!

This scholarship will help ease the financial strain of commuting long distances for school and clinicals, allowing Briana to focus on what matters most. Briana, we are honored to support your journey. Your dedication, perseverance, and heart for all others embody the very spirit what the Foundation loves. Way to go!

🍪 Bite-Sized Joy, Big Appreciation 🍪

The NRH Foundation had the sweet privilege of delivering cookies to thank some of our amazing healers for all they do. While we couldn’t make it to every location, please know that we see you, we value you, and we are grateful for ALL of you.

Through grants, scholarships and treats, the Foundation supports each and every healer and physician as much as we can because every little bit counts. We loved seeing all the smiles and Porter loved the pets.
