🌟Provider spotlight: Sara Harm, APRN🌟

Sara is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a BS in Nursing from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science degree from Duke University. She spent five years at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and since moving to Oklahoma, she has worked as a Pediatric Nurse at OU Children’s Hospital. Originally from New Jersey, Sara enjoys staying active, exploring new restaurants, attending concerts and sporting events, and traveling with her husband, John.

Sun’s out - sunscreen is ON! ☀️🧴As important as is it for kids to get lots of fresh air in the summer months, it’s equally as important to protect their skin from the sometimes harsh rays of the sun.

☀️Use broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher.
☀️Apply 15–30 minutes before sun exposure.
☀️Reapply every 2 hours - sooner if swimming or sweating.
☀️Cover easy-to-miss spots like ears, the back of the neck, tops of feet, and the scalp.
☀️Pair with protective clothing & shade.
☀️Keep babies 6 months and under out of direct sunlight.
