My calendar is officially closed for the remainder of 2024 so that I can rest and spend time with my family during the upcoming holiday season.

At Grace River, we believe financial barriers shouldn’t prevent anyone from receiving the mental health care they need. We offer low-cost counseling for uninsured individuals, providing support and hope for those who need it most.

Meet Megan, one of our incredible counselors at Grace River!

Since 2017, she’s been working with clients of all ages, especially families. What she loves most about her job is helping clients heal from trauma, and she also enjoys mentoring interns, watching them grow into confident, well-trained counselors. She responded to an ad for a licensed counselor and, after visiting Andrea’s play therapy room, decided to apply once she became a candidate.

Her favorite midday snack? Chocolate!

In sessions, she loves using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and has recently started incorporating animal-assisted therapies with her dog, Jade, and horse, Princess.

In her words, 'It’s been so much fun!
