Stay warm, don't run propane heaters indoors where the carbon monoxide can build up. Drip your faucets, keep those kids warm.

Sleep habits change when school is done for the summer, especially for teens. Encourage regular bedtimes and get up times, even if they are shifted later. Two weeks before school starts in the fall, gradually move their bedtimes and getup times back to school schedule. Dont' wait until August for back to school checkups and shots - we have plenty of open slots in June and July. August will get crowded!

The measles outbreak continues to spread, and is now in Oklahoma. If your child is unvaccinated, the safest, most effective way to keep them from catching measles is to get them vaccinated. Vitamin A will not help. Absolute isolation might help, but people can be contagious with measles and not have symptoms, so isolation is less likely to work.
We are here and ready to give your child the vaccine when you are ready. But don't wait too long.
