Did you know diabetes can affect your smile, too? People with diabetes are more likely to get gum infections and bone loss around their teeth. High blood sugar can slow healing, cause dry mouth, and lead to more bacteria, plaque, and cavities.

Did you know tooth decay is one of the most common (and preventable!) dental issues? It starts when bacteria in your mouth feed on sugars and produce acid — slowly wearing down your enamel. Over time, this can lead to cavities, sensitivity, and even toothaches. 😬

Here’s how to keep your smile strong and healthy:
✨ Brush twice a day with fluoride/hydroxyapatite toothpaste
✨ Floss daily (yes, it really matters!)
✨ Cut back on sugary snacks and drinks
✨ See your dentist regularly for cleanings and checkups

Tooth decay doesn’t happen overnight — and neither does a healthy smile. Stay consistent and protect those pearly whites! 😁🪥
