June's Lifeguard Certification Class at the GWCCC. 27.5 hours of certification required, hands on experience with instructor, video watching for scenarios while offeringa visual learning, water safety and scanning, as well as passing the Written Exam.
Water safety is important and required by DHS for child care facilities, camps, other programs where the Department of State oversees and requires at least 1 certified lifeguard on duty who is also a staff member at the employer you are workimg for. ❤️💙🙏🏊🏼♀️

These skills are also timed. During the Scanning process, you have no more than 2 minutes to rescue the victim, administer CPR, and begin AED if needed. If you are unable to succeed, the victim could either become brain dead or unalive due to no oxygen to the brain. 🙏🙏
Certifications range from $350.00.- $375.00 which includes 2 years of CPR/First Aid/AED and Lifeguard certification and renewals are about $200.00, which your current certification cannot be expored for more than 30 days.
