At OH we work with a lot of co-parenting families, and here’s the truth — it is okay if the other parent does things differently than you would.

Kids are smart. They code-switch. They figure it out. They take in what serves them and learn to move between homes more smoothly than adults often expect.

Every parent will have positive, negative, and neutral impacts on their kids. That’s real life.

Yes — there are always exceptions (especially where physical or sexual abuse is present). But in most situations, the best thing we can do is lower the control, lower the noise, and keep the focus on our children’s well-being.

We’re all trying to raise healthy humans. Let’s act like it.

Devin brings a well-rounded background in yoga, strength training, and mindful movement to Optimal Healing. With certifications in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, personal training, yoga for athletes, prenatal yoga, yoga nidra, and more, she blends knowledge with an approachable, supportive teaching style.
