North Adams Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center offers post-acute skilled nursing care for short-term rehabilitation and recovery following surgery or illness, and long-term skilled care for complex medical concerns and custodial care. Conveniently located in an established neighborhood close to the center of North Adams, MA, we have been caring for people in the North Adams area since 1981. Our award-winning care includes short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, long-term care, respite care short stays, and hospice services. Locally run and staffed by caring and attentive North Adams-area healthcare professionals, North Adams Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is backed by Integritus Healthcare, a leader among nonprofit, post-acute care providers in Massachusetts. North Adams Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a proud recipient of the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) 2014 Silver Achievement in Quality Award, one of only three Massachusetts centers to earn this distinction. Awarded by an independent panel of examiners, the Silver Achievement Award is the second of three sequential steps toward the most prestigious recognition in the long-term care profession and reflects our commitment to the highest levels of patient care. Modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award - the nation's premier award for recognizing distinguished achievement - AHCA/NCAL quality awards recognize select communities that serve as models of performance excellence and continuous quality improvement in long-term care services.
