I haven't worn deodorant in about 15 years, and no, I don't smell. Let me explain. 🌿

Most conventional deodorants are packed with aluminum, synthetic fragrances, and chemicals that disrupt your hormones and block your body's natural detox pathways. Your armpits have major lymph nodes right underneath the surface, and when you block sweat or absorb those ingredients daily, you're interfering with drainage.

Here's what changed for me: when I cleaned up my diet, my sweat changed too. I still perspire during workouts, but there's no strong odor. That sharp, onion-like smell people associate with sweat is actually a sign your body is overloaded with toxins and using sweat as an exit route.

One of my favorite ways to get more nutrients into my kids without any pushback? Ground beef with hidden organ meat. πŸ₯©

I know organ meat sounds intimidating, and honestly, a lot of people feel squeamish about eating liver, heart, or kidneys. But here's the thing, organ meat is one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can eat. It's packed with vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats that you just don't get from muscle meat alone.

The secret is blending it into ground beef so the texture and flavor are almost undetectable. I use grass-fed, grass-finished beef from US Wellness Meats because the quality matters, and they have options that already mix organ meat right in. When you season it well, especially with something bold like taco seasoning, no one can tell the difference.

We do tacos at least once a week in my house, and my kids have no idea they're eating some of the most nutritious food on the planet. For years, I would wake up with a stuffy nose and immediately start interrogating my diet. Did I eat gluten? Dairy? Something that triggered inflammation? πŸ€”

I'd go down this whole mental checklist because I know the mucus lining in your nose is the same tissue that lines your entire digestive tract. So if something irritates your gut, it can show up as congestion in your sinuses. Your body increases blood flow and mucus production to protect itself, trying to trap whatever it perceives as a threat before it gets deeper into your system.

But here's the thing, I couldn't find any consistency. Some mornings I'd wake up stuffy, other mornings I'd be fine, even when I ate the exact same way. It was frustrating because I felt like I was doing everything right.

Then I got a new vacuum for Christmas, one with a light that shows dust on the floor. And when I turned it on in my bedroom, I was shocked. My floor looked clean to the eye, but the vacuum revealed dust everywhere. I had vacuumed the day before, and there was still a thick layer under my bed.

Unlike your cardiovascular system, which has a pump (your heart), your lymph system relies entirely on movement to circulate. That means if you're sitting most of the day, stressed, or dealing with inflammation, your lymph fluid can get stagnant. And when it does, you feel sluggish, puffy, foggy, and more prone to getting sick.

I've been using a tuning fork tool called the Sonic Slider for years now, and it's one of the simplest ways I support my lymph system daily. It takes about five minutes, and the vibration helps move fluid through your lymph channels so your body can detox, reduce inflammation, and deliver nutrients more efficiently.
