January often asks us to push harder.

But the body doesn't change through pressure.

Lasting health comes when our actions match what we actually value, not what we think we should be doing.

Alignment is quieter than discipline, and far more powerful.

How Emotions Disrupt Your Body Like Toxins | Katie Kitzing's River Analogy 🌊

What if your emotions acted just like physical toxins, silently blocking your body's natural flow?
In this thoughtful video, Katie Kitzing explains how stuck emotions can behave like rocks in a river. When emotional buildup accumulates, it slows the body's ability to process not just feelings, but also physical stressors like toxins and pathogens.

🎯 In this video, you'll learn:

Why emotions are more than just thoughts
How emotional blocks physically disrupt your system
The river analogy that shows how energy flow gets stuck

What this means for your healing, clarity, and nervous system function

True healing means clearing more than just your body. It starts with releasing what you cannot see.

🌿 Unblock the flow. Restore your health.

Values Over Resolutions: How Alignment Creates Lasting Health and Energy

Every January, we tell ourselves what we should do.

Eat better. Exercise more. Be more disciplined.

And by February… most of it's gone.

Not because you failed, but because "shoulds" don't create safety, energy, or lasting change.

In this episode, I'm inviting you to try something different.

Instead of chasing resolutions, we talk about:

β€’ Why alignment matters more than willpower
β€’ How your values quietly shape your health and energy
β€’ Why the nervous system has to feel safe before healing can happen
β€’ And how living in integrity actually creates momentum

This isn't about doing more. It's about listening more closely.

🎧 Episode #73 is now live.

Maybe this year isn't about a new version of you, but a more aligned one. 🌿

How Stored Emotions Block Healing | Katie Kitzing on Nervous System Trauma 🧠

Your body holds more than memoriesβ€”it holds emotion, trauma, and past experiences that directly impact how you respond, decide, and heal.
In this eye-opening conversation, Katie Kitzing explains how emotional residue stored in the body can block the nervous system, confuse threat responses, and keep you stuck in cycles of fear or defensivenessβ€”even when there's no real danger.

🎯 In this video, you'll learn:

Why your body is a memory bank that shapes emotional reactions
How past trauma can disrupt the nervous system and block healing
What it means to be "switched" or "blocked" neurologically

How to begin releasing stored emotion so your body can reset and recover

Emotional trauma doesn't just live in your mindβ€”it lives in your body. And until it's processed, it can hold your healing back.

As we step into a new year, I'm reminded of something I say often in my practice:

Your body isn't asking for perfection, it's asking for support.
This season is the perfect time to create small, steady habits that help your body feel safe, nourished, and in rhythm again.
Not drastic resolutions… just simple shifts that build real healing.

A few gentle places to start:

🌱 Hydrate with minerals β€” your cells crave it.
🫁 Breathe through your nose, especially at night.
πŸ₯‘ Choose whole, colorful foods that feed your microbiome.
😴 Honor your sleep like it's medicine.
🦷 Keep your oral care slow and gentle β€” your gums love consistency.
πŸ’› Make space for rest without guilt.

Healing doesn't happen in big leaps.

Here's to a year of supportive routines, softer nervous systems, and habits that help you feel more like yourself. ✨

Happy New Year!

πŸŒ…πŸŒ™ Resetting Your Rhythm, One Drop at a Time

If your sleep feels "off," your hormones feel scrambled, or your nervous system won't fully settle… there's usually a circadian rhythm piece underneath it.

One blend I've been loving for this is Circadian Rhythmβ„’ by Vibrant Blue Oils. πŸ’§βœ¨

It gently supports your body's natural sleep–wake cycle β€” no forcing, no stimulants, just balance.

I use a drop on the back of my neck before bed or under the nose when I'm trying to reset after travel.

It's like telling your body:
"Here's your rhythm again."

The mouth is never just the mouth.

I recently had the honor of being a guest on The Point of Medicine Podcast, and the conversation went straight to the root of how I approach dentistry and healing as a whole.

We explored how neural therapy and energy-based modalities are transforming dental care by working with the body instead of against it. Not chasing symptoms. Not rushing to invasive procedures. But creating the right conditions for the nervous system and tissues to heal.

In this episode, we talk about:

🦷 Using ozone and neural (procaine) injections to calm early pulpitis and TMJ pain, often avoiding root canals or surgery
πŸ’‘ How red light therapy supports extraction recovery, reduces inflammation, and even helps regulate the vagus nerve
🧠 Why root canals, cavitations, and implants must always be evaluated through the lens of immune load and systemic inflammation
🌬️ Simple, low-cost vagus nerve practices that help shift healing from the inside out

This conversation is really about listening to the nervous system, to the tissues, and to the subtle signals the body is always sending.

Because healing doesn't happen when we force it.

It happens when the body feels safe enough to respond.

✨ If you're curious about a more regenerative, whole-body approach to dentistry (or healing in general), this episode is for you.

Nighttime is sacred for your mouth.

It's when your gums repair, your saliva resets, and your nervous system unwinds.

Before bed:

✨ Brush slowly for the full 2 minutes
✨ Floss mindfully
✨ Sip a little mineralized water
✨ Make sure you're breathing through your nose
✨ Give yourself 30 seconds of stillness

Think of it as tucking your mouth and your whole nervous system in for the night.

Healing happens when we slow down enough to let it.

Health truly starts in the mouth. It is my favorite part of what I do, because I get to watch whole-body healing begin with one simple place we often overlook. ✨

When we care for the gums, the saliva, the minerals, and the microbiome, we are caring for the entire system. The mouth is the gateway, not the afterthought.

Your body is always asking for support. The mouth is where we can listen first. 🌿

Here's something most people don't know:

20% of your lymphatic system lives in your head and neck.

So when the gums are inflamed… or the oral microbiome is stressed…the lymph can get overwhelmed too.

Try this daily:

– Light jawline massage
– A few bounces (mini trampoline or just on your toes)
– Deep ribcage breathing
– Warm β†’ cool β†’ warm in the shower

When your lymph flows, your gums de-puff, your energy lifts, and your whole system feels clearer.
