The Office/Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational functions of the practice, including revenue cycle operations, patient services, administrative workflows, and vendor coordination. This role ensures that billing, front office operations, and key administrative functions run efficiently to support high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience. This position reports directly to the Managing Partners with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Supervisory Partner, who serves as the primary liaison between the management team and the physician partners.
Skills Required
· Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field and at least five (5) years of relevant experience, OR
· Eight (8) or more years of experience in a medical practice administrative leadership role without a degree.
· Demonstrated experience overseeing revenue cycle or billing operations, with a focus on process management, staff leadership, and performance improvement (hands-on coding or billing certification not required).
· Experience working with EPIC or similar electronic medical record (EMR) platforms.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance requirements applicable to physician practices.
