💜By the end of this story we think you’re going to feel good about supporting BNF.

Pam’s daughter was born via emergency C-section at 26 weeks. Nothing went anything near how they imagined. After 5 months in the NICU at Baystate they came home with their beautiful baby with the support of oxygen and a G-tube.

Pam’s original plan was to breastfeed but instead has been pumping since day 1. So BNF provided emotional support and answered pumping questions as she transitioned from NICU standards to in-home pumping, and even on-the-go pumps as she navigated going back to work. 🍼

But it was Pam’s determination and hard work through unexpected challenges that kept her pumping to feed her daughter for over 1 year! We are honored to help parents meet their goals, even when the goalpost moves unexpectedly. 👈

“Thank you for this wonderful service! My lactation consultant at the NICU even said she wished there was a BNF in the Pioneer Valley.”

BNF is the only organization of its kind and none of this would be possible without you and your generous support.

Please Donate Today!
There are many more parents like Pam who will need our help.

* Our apologies, in an earlier version of this story we mistakenly posted an image of another beautiful little girl using a g-tube. We are sorry for the mix up and are happy to reunite this image with the correct testimonial.

🍼 Help our (milk) cup runneth over! A generous anonymous donor is matching 1:1 your donations up to $15,000!

As a trusted, free community resource, the demand for our services is growing. But as any parent of multiples can tell you, you can't fully breastfeed two babies if you are only making enough milk for one! Supplementing is key. We are reaching more parents, expanding further through Berkshire County, AND need your help! This match makes any money you donate go twice as far. We never want to turn anyone away.

Help us boost our supply and donate today.

On this snowy Tuesday we're looking back on all the families we have served this past year. All 924+ of them, 2,187 individuals, a 60% increase from the year before.

And the need continues to grow.

Each one of those families were your neighbors. Families that were struggling with pain, through isolation, and anxious about giving their baby the best start possible.

Our goal remains simple: to turn no one away. But we can only do that with your help.

Your gift ensures that when a parent feels alone, there’s someone to answer the phone. It means families can access care regardless of income or background. It means more babies get the healthiest start possible—and more parents feel confident and connected from the very beginning.

As we begin our Annual Appeal, we hope you’ll consider making a gift that ensures we can continue to show up for every family who us.

📢‼️And this is big: thanks to a generous anonymous donor, we have a matching donation up to $15,000! Your gift goes twice as far!

“BNF came over on day two of being home. I was in pain, overwhelmed, and had a million and one questions. They took their time and truly helped me.” - Sophia 💛

Feeding your baby doesn't always come easily — it’s learned. It takes guidance and support. And it's personal. Every family will feed differently and BNF is here to help without judgement.

Nearly 1 in 5 new moms experiences postpartum anxiety, and those feelings can make the learning curve even steeper. BNF helps families find their rhythm, one feeding at a time.

Actors, teachers, doctors, construction workers, engineers, and maybe you? Postpartum and prenatal anxiety and depression can affect anyone. If you are going through it or just need a place to be in community with other folks who are parenting little ones (or about to be), come check out our Time Out Together Parent Groups. Check out our website for more info, or scroll down our feed to check out the flyer❤️

Postpartum depression came as a surprise to Jennifer Lawrence after the birth of her second child, when she felt like “a tiger was chasing me every day.” She talked about that experience, and what helped, with Lulu Garcia-Navarro on “The Interview.”
