Led by Dr. Paula Muto, Muto Vein Center (mutoveincenter.com) specializes in treating all forms of early and advanced stage vein disease affecting the lower extremities. Our team uses modern, clinically proven techniques and technology to reverse the disease’s progression and resolve our patients’ symptoms—quickly, comfortably, and with little-to-no downtime.

Dr. Muto has more than 25 years of experience and has performed thousands of successful vein treatment procedures. Guided by the latest research, Muto Vein Center is continually among the first vein treatment centers to embrace and adopt the latest, most advanced, and most effective vein treatment protocols to help patients feel and look their best.

We sincerely care about our patients and their satisfaction, happiness, and health. You can trust that we will treat you as a person and not a number, listen to you, work with skill, urgency, and efficiency, and do all we can to make your vein treatment a success.

Dr. Muto is the owner of Muto Vein Center and is board-certified in general and vascular surgery. She has been in solo private-practice for over 20 years in the Merrimack Valley and also treats patients at Holy Family Hospital (Steward Health Care). She graduated from Amherst College with a degree in English and Neuroscience, and then completed Medical School at New York Medical College. She then went on to complete her Surgical Residency at Tufts New England Medical Center, and her Vascular Fellowship at Lahey.

She is a member of a family of physicians and surgeons who have collectively practiced medicine in Massachusetts for over 50 years. She is an outspoken advocate for patient care and is passionate about women’s health issues.

Dr. Muto was named one of the top female physicians in the country by Becker’s Hospital Review.
