1️⃣ Most results come from outside the gym.
Sleep, nutrition, stress. You spend one hour in the gym per day, at most. It’s what you do in the other 23 other hours that make an impact on the benefits you get from working inside the gym.
2️⃣ Sometimes the goal is just maintaining.
While this might not always be exciting, it might just be the place you’re at in life currently. When illness, injury, or life challenges take your focus away from the gym your goals don’t have to be about getting stronger or faster. Just staying maintaining your fitness routine will be the goal.
3️⃣ The best type of exercise you can do is the one you enjoy.
Choosing what you enjoy to do is a key predictor in consistency, and being consist throughout life is what makes the greatest impact on your overall health. Exercise isn’t a chore, don’t force it to be one.
