This week, John represented HB Pharmacy in Washington, D.C. alongside fellow pharmacists and national pharmacy organizations to advocate for patient access to compounded medications and the future of compounding pharmacy.
The meetings focused on important healthcare and regulatory issues affecting both pharmacies and patients, including continued access to medically necessary compounded medications.
During the visit, meetings were held with the offices of Senator Cory Booker, Senator Andy Kim, Representative Nellie Pou, Representative Josh Gottheimer, and Representative Frank Pallone.
At HB Pharmacy, we believe advocacy and continued education are essential to protecting patient care and ensuring our community continues to have access to personalized treatment options.
