I am using this week of deeply nourishing self-care to reactivate my Lo-Fi Fun project. This is where I make more intentional use of what I already have while saving money and having maximum fun!
To kick off my deeply nourishing week of self-care:
I slept in. I’ve been averaging 4 to 6 hours of sleep a night, which is lame. So today I went on ahead and got all my sleep and got up when I was done resting.
I did a spiritual foot bath, read Wild Seed by Octavia E. Butler, watched Charmed (the original!), prayed at my Goddess altar, scripted, pulled out a dozen tarot decks to enjoy the art,…now that man is taking me to dinner.
Lo-Fi Fun (low financial fun) requires me to be more mindful of spending, more aware of how I sometimes run around town out of “boredom,” and to notice how overspending doesn’t actually shift my emotions — but creating a beautiful moment for myself does. Praying does. Walking outside does. Resting does. Writing does. Enjoying art does. Getting my work done does. Dancing does.
IN FACT, I can feel better without spending a dime. ❤️🔥
Unleashing my pleasure from insatiable consumption + overspending all 2026! 🙂↕️ Join me? 🥹☺️💓
