I am a Rehabilitation Counselor with 20+ years of professional experience working with adolescents and children with chronic and persistent mental illness. Project REAL stands for: Right now Everything is About Life. Project R.E.A.L is an exciting and productive program that positively impacts children with chronic and persistent mental illness. Participants learn to manage individual behaviors and symptoms and utilize positive coping strategies to become effective leaders. focuses on teaching leadership skills that promote mature learning and personal development. The goal is to increase independent performance in school, home and in the community abroad. Children and adolescent with chronic and persistent mental illness suffer in school and community because they do not have the skills to manage their behaviors or emotions. Often times they are not given the opportunity to explore and participate in positive activities that are education and enriching due to poor behavior and social functioning.

My name is Terry B. Miller, the founder and CEO of Word Of Life Behavioral Health, LLC. First let me thank you formally by letting you know that we appreciate your interest and consideration. This website has been designed to share with you publicly the interest and values established by Word of Life. We has over 100+ combined years of experience in Human and Health Services, and strive to provide a safe and therapeutic solution for those looking to improve their well-being, reduce illness and prevent potential pit falls in life.

Word Of Life Behavioral Health is a comprehensive group of Licensed Professional Counselors. We offer a diverse group of clinicians who deliver a range of therapeutic methods which are based on each counselors specialty. Counselors use specialized techniques such a Motivational Therapy, CBT, Supportive Therapy and Muti-systemic approaches to provide a solution to improve individual well-being and reduce illness.

WOL provides individual, couples, marital, pre-marital, and family therapy. WOL also provides supportive services for children and adolescents who have an IEP or 504 Plan. WOL provides services to Military personnel in need of counseling to address issues of Trauma or adjustment. WOL specializes in addressing issues of Depression, Depart. of Juvenile Justice or Dept. Social Services.

WOL offers a diverse staff to serve a diverse population including the LGBT community and maternal mental health consumers. We accept most South Carolina insurances and some Georgia insurances. WOL also offers a sliding scale to those who qualify.
