Dr Robert Mall joined Brantley Chiropractic in 2016 after nearly 11 years at Boutwell Chiropractic Group. He is an Iowa native and graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College, Davenport, Iowa as well as a Board Certified Altas Orthogonal Chiropractor. Did you know?

The first chiropractic adjustment was performed by D.D. Palmer, the founder of chiropractic, on a deaf patient, Harvey Lillard, in 1895. Lillard was a janitor and had been deaf for 17 years. The adjustment resulted in improved hearing and led Lillard to continue receiving chiropractic care.

Did you know, when the atlas bone (C1) misaligns, it can restrict normal drainage of the eustachian tubes, causing a backup of fluid which creates a breeding ground for microbial replication. Correcting a mal-positioned atlas bone can remove that pressure and often allows for more efficient drainage of the eustachian tubes. Patients of all ages present in our office with ear related complaints, from ear infections, fullness or pressure in the ears, tinnitus, to hearing loss. While there are other causes for these symptoms, if it is atlas, we can help most of them. If your ENT has ruled out all other causes, or if you have an ear infection that just won’t go away, this could be a part of the puzzle!
