Beacon Family Wellness Center The Town of Babylon's Beacon Family Wellness Center provides comprehensive, affordable, and accessible chemical dependency treatment services to residents.

The Town of Babylon supports residents and their families in their recovery process through information and referral, education, counseling, interaction with other agencies, and a commitment to self-help. Services of this agency include:

Assessment
Community Education
Group counseling
Individual counseling
Family Therapy
Adolescent Treatment
Women's Treatment
Substance Abuse Educational Services
DWI Assessment
Psychiatric Evaluations and Treatment
Relapse Prevention

The services are offered for a fee based on a sliding scale based on income to residents who are currently abusing drugs or have a history of substance abuse. Family members or significant others who are experiencing difficulty living with a loved one who is abusing substances are also eligible. This program is funded by the Town of Babylon, New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services, and Suffolk County Department of Mental Hygiene.
