North Baltimore girls basketball is rewriting its story, and it’s being led by a sharpshooter who’s only just getting started.

Six High School Marching Band Directors from Northwest Ohio are heading to the 2026 Rose Parade on New Year's Day!

They're part of a group of 400 band directors from all across the country, led by Director Jon Waters of the Bowling Green State University BGSU Falcon Marching Band.

Keep an eye out for marching band directors:
- Ben Pack, North Baltimore High School, Clarinet
- Kari Rosania, Fairview High School, Sousaphone
- Julee Bayliss, Fairview Elementary (HS Asst), Tenor Sax
- Megan Hayes, Elmwood High School, Trumpet
- Laura Zumbaugh, Montpelier High School, Trombone
- Polly Krause, Stryker High School, Mellophone, injured her leg while training for the 5+ mile parade route. She will be performing during the Float Fest and Band Fest, but not marching in the parade.

The group marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade two years ago. Their theme is: "America's Band Directors: We teach music. We teach life.™"
