Today, our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of a brave first responder who tragically lost their life to su***de.

This heartbreaking loss is a stark reminder that mental health struggles can affect anyone, even our heroes. It is crucial to break the stigma surrounding mental health and to foster a supportive environment where seeking help is seen as a strength, not a weakness.

To all first responders, please know that you are not alone. Your bravery goes beyond the uniform you wear—seeking support is a courageous step towards healing. Reach out, talk to someone, and know that it’s okay to not be okay.

To the friends, family, and colleagues left behind, we stand with you in your grief. Let us honor Detective Robert Sivori's memory by continuing the conversation about mental health and ensuring that support is always available for those in need.
