Please note that on Thursday 10/2/25 the office will only be open for morning hours!! As always there will be a doctor on call if you have an emergent question.
We ask you to wait until the next day to contact the office regarding appointments, forms, billing or any other non-medical related questions, as the Dr. will not be in the office and will have no access to that information.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of the Founding Fathers of Wantagh Pediatric’s, Dr Peter Axel. We will always remember him for his lifetime of service and dedication caring for children and their families, as well as participating in the education of future physicians.
Our deepest condolences for his wife Susan and his children.

It's time to schedule for camp exams, fall sports and school exams (for Pre-k, Kindergarten, and grades 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 & 11)!
If it has been over a year from the child's/children's last physical, you have a new insurance, or if your insurance doesn't make you wait a full year- Give us a call, so you can schedule an appointment that is convenient for you!!!!
