Nancy Koff Marriage & Family Therapy Practice I offer support for couples, families & individuals. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

I work with Couples, with a specialization in Affair Recovery. I treat individuals with Mood Dysregulation, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD and other issues I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, believing that when we change the way we think, we change the way we feel & behave. I am a Licensed Marriage Therapist, with an orientation towards Imago Techniques, which are extremely effective when working with couples. My office is a beautiful, safe haven for my clients to feel accepted unconditionally.

Did you know that worrying actually increases anxiety because it feeds back? Anxiety is fear of losing control. Worrying gives the illusion of control.
The strategy for decreasing anxiety is to let go. What/who do you really have control over? The only control we have is over our thoughts/actions. Practicing thought stopping is very beneficial for improved mental health.

Back after a long time, my apologies to followers...busy, busy, busy.
Take a moment to ask yourself this question, posed by the author Gretchen Rubin of The Happiness Project..
"Will this make me happier?" She proposes that "making choices that can make you happier in the long or short run can move you in the right direction toward a life filled with more joy".
She also proposes the "one minute rule"..if you can do something in one minute without delay, go ahead & do it...which is why I posted this. Great ideas.
