It’s not every day that we have the opportunity to combine two of our favorite activities. Helping others and golf!

This year we were fortunate enough to be able to sponsor the Greater Seattle Women’s Public Golf Association and the charity, Key to Change. These amazing ladies were able to raise thousands of dollars to help Key to Change’s mission of, “Inspiring underserved youth through world-class music instruction and supporting their development as self-aware leaders.”

We are so excited for Key to Change, GSWPGA, and what is the beginning of a beautiful friend-chip! ⛳️ 💚🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

Great video on Botox as a treatment for TMJ pain. I was suprised to learn that TMJ disorder is the second leading cause of muskuloskeletal problems/pain, while back pain is first. I have seen amazing relief with patients I have treated with Botox. It is so rewarding to help someone stop having pain and subsequently helping their teeth! Dr. McCoy

We had a very special Halloween first dental visit! Say hello to Timmy the T-Rex! It was his first dental visit at Mt Si Family Dentistry. We thought this would be a great time to answer your non-dinosaur first dental visit questions…

When do I bring my child in for their first visit? Our #1 asked question! The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends when your child gets their first tooth but no later than their first birthday!

What do you do on a first visit? Another great question! Our goal is to check development and provide dental guidance. Everything else is bonus. We want to create a positive experience and atmosphere for your child. When they are ready, we can go forward with cleanings, Fluoride, etc.

How often do I bring my child? Every 6 months! Children develop SO quickly. We want to make sure to see them and monitor their dental growth along the way.
