For all Advanced Health patients looking to get back in with us, we will need a new referral from your primary care physician for this year. Please get those scheduled. Once we receive the signed referral, we will contact you to get you scheduled.

We Are Back!!

Starting February 1st, Lighthouse Health and Wellness will begin to see patients at our new location 2184 Broadway Ave. in North Bend. Our goal is the same, to give quality service to the patients of Coos and Curry counties. We will provide chiropractic care and massage therapy once again but with a reduced staff of just Dr. Bartell and Cindy performing massage therapy. Keeping it small where we can give our patients the personalized service they deserve. Moving forward, we will only be in network with Advanced Health. We will continue to accept other insurance plans but will expect payment at time of service and provide a superbill to the patient to be submitted by them to their carrier for reimbursement. This will allow us to focus on treatment only. We want to welcome our patients back and look forward to servicing their needs again at our new location. Our phone number remains the same 541-808-9697 and our website lighthousewellnessinstitute.com is being worked on to reflect our changes to the clinic and more information on ways to improve your health. Lighthouse Health and Wellness is Closing its Doors

It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Lighthouse Health and Wellness will be closing its doors. Cindy and I, as well as our staff, had taken on the challenge to take care of our community and treat those patients with limited resources and choices for the past 3 years. Insurance is a difficult monster to navigate but we have done our best to fight the fight. At this time however, between its challenges and the physical and emotional stress it and other factors have created for Cindy and I, we are going to be taking a new path. Not quite sure what that is for me, but Cindy and the staff will be continuing to share their gifts in new ways and locations.
The decision did not come easily for us, but we feel that it is time to practice what we preach. This time will allow me to work on my health and wellness that has been starting to fade over the past year. The pandemic and our latest closure due to COVID this week has given Cindy and I time to realize what we have been missing in our lives and now is our time to make some positive changes to improve as people and clinicians.
For our current patients, we will soon be sending letters explaining the closure of our facility as well as contact information for your records as well as options for you to continue your care with a different provider. We will also to be providing information soon on how to contact your therapists for further care in their new facilities. Our website will have information as well on how to get request copies of your records for your new providers. Please be patient with us on this since the office is currently under quarantine until the end of next week and no staff is allowed to be working during that time.
We have loved our relationships with the community we have been blessed to serve and hope we can continue those as we see you in our community.
