Be Well Oriental Medicine

Be Well Oriental Medicine Acupuncture - Medicinal Herbs - Qi Gong - Acupressure & Tuina It is the responsibility of each of us to take part in our own wellness. We help you Be Well.

At the Be Well- Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Clinic we help our patients do just that. We use a variety of traditional medical practices to harmonize the mind and the body of the patient . The result of this balancing is increased immunity to many of the factors that cause illness. Our treatment protocols, which are fine tuned for each patients specific needs, result in increased energy, sounder sleep, decreased levels of pain from injuries, and a general sense of wellbeing. At the Be Well Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Clinic we diagnose patients' underlying weaknesses and imbalances using tongue analysis, pulse diagnosis, abdominal palpation, and the medical history information obtained from the patient during the consultation interview. An acurate analysis is then made of the patient's internal disharmonies and a specific treatment plan is designed for the patient. The chosen treatment modalities, which may include acupuncture, qigong, tuina, guasha, and medicinal herbs, are intended to treat the underlying causes of illness as well as the symptoms. With this approach the patient may have a long term resolution to an ailment, not just a temporary result from treatment.

Dr. David Alland, Director of the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Public Health Research Institute, and his colleagues have conducted the first evaluation of an innovative point-of-care test to detect COVID-19. Cepheid has received Emergency Use Authorization clearance of this test by the Food and Drug Administration.

Test results are ready in 45 minutes, enabling decentralized testing for COVID-19 and allowing physicians to make rapid decisions about quarantine, hospital isolation and treatments. Experiments undertaken at Rutgers showed the test was able to detect even very small amounts of SARS CoV2.
