“As a Life Enrichment Manager, I know we’ve officially turned a corner! One of our favorite performers, AJ Spoffard, has been coming to our community for a while and always takes music requests. These days, it’s no longer ‘You Are My Sunshine’ or ‘How Much Is That Doggy in the Window.’ We’ve reached the point where residents are requesting Mötley Crüe and Bon Jovi!

Last week's performance from AJ even included a special dedication and song in memory of Linda, a recent resident who passed, who loved Mötley Crüe. Our performers truly are the best," said Molly, Ecumen North Branch Life Enrichment Manager.

One of our favorite annual activities is our Ice Fishing Game! Our residents casted a line into “Lake Ecumen” and waited to see what they'd catch. Every cast came with a treat—but the surprise was half the fun! Would it be a shark, a boot, an empty beer can, a frog, weeds… or even a whale?

This year, a resident even caught a mermaid, and the laughs were endless. What a fin-tastic day!

We were thrilled to welcome back the Prime Time Singers this afternoon!

The Prime Time Singers are a wonderful community choir made up of senior citizens who share their love of music and fellowship. They perform at a variety of events throughout the area, offering a repertoire that includes both sacred and secular songs.

Currently, the group has about 30 members and is directed by Arne Everson. Their performance brought joy, energy, and harmony to our community—thank you for sharing your talents with us!
