💛 The Paul Elmstrand Smile Project – Year 2 💛
Sun Dental & Orthodontics is honored to continue the Paul Elmstrand Smile Project, a program created to honor the legacy of our hometown hero, Paul Elmstrand.
This special initiative provides free, comprehensive orthodontic treatment (including braces, adjustments, and retainers) to one deserving individual (age 11 or older) each year who is committed to giving back to their community.
In true pay-it-forward spirit, the recipient will complete a 40-hour community service project, reflecting the kindness, dedication, and heart for service that Paul showed throughout his life.
Paul grew up in North Branch and dedicated his life to serving others — from his involvement in 4-H, Joy Lutheran Church, and community programs to serving as a Burnsville Police Officer and member of the Honor Guard. His life was tragically cut short in the line of duty on February 18, 2024, while doing what he loved — serving his community.
Through this project, we aim not only to create a life-changing smile, but also to inspire a ripple effect of generosity and service throughout our community — just as Paul did.
