Twins Abel and Elijah are set to graduate in January with their certificate in mechanics. These boys have been part of our program from the very beginning and we could not be more proud of who they have grown up to be. This is Brian; it has been a joy to watch him grow up over the last 10 years. In January he will be graduating as a mechanic. We want to make sure that he, and all our other 17 graduates, leave with the tools they need to equip them to enter the work force. Would you help us make that possible?

Back in 2018 Judith graduated with a degree in tailoring. We were able to give her a sewing machine, some fabric, and all the small tools she would need to launch her career. This year we have 9, girls graduating with the same degree. That means we need to purchase 9 sewing machines. Would you please help us make that happen?

It’s hard to believe that we have been working with the children of Kaberamaido for a little over 13 years. We have so enjoyed watching them grow up! With your support we have helped many of them break the cycle of poverty. Well, we are once again asking for your help. In January we have 18 young adults ready to graduate the program. They have all completed a trade course and are ready to join the work force. This is where you come in.

Our graduating class consistes of some mechanics, seamstresses, electricians and construction workers. We are looking to raise just over $5,000 which will enable us to give each graduate the tools they need to begin their careers.

Today we are Celebrating Daniel who just graduated with a degree in Medical Laboratory. Daniel has been such a pillar in our Carepoint Community and he has stood out from the very beginning. His graduation has been a long time coming and we can not be more happy for him.

Today is a big day for Brian as he graduates from Makerere University with a bachelors degree in agriculture. We are so proud of this young man. We can’t wait to see what he does next. 👨🏾‍🎓🥳🎊

This is Rebecca. She has been in our program since the beginning. ( the second picture was taken when we first met her back in 2011). She is now a nurse with her own clinic and she has a full time job as a school nurse. We are so proud of her, and can not wait to see what’s still in store for her.

Back in 2016 we gifted Brian a goat, and now his family has been able to turn that goat into metal sheets for their roof. You can see more about this in our latest video.

If you were to visit the Hopechest country office in Soroti, Uganda, you would see this wall mural. On it is every sponsors name written down. This allows for the country staff to look at, remember, and pray for all the sponsors who work with them to help vulnerable children in Uganda. It’s one more way they foster the community to community relationships.

Hi! We know it’s been a while since you have hear from us. We are sure you have lots of questions about what’s been happening. We hope to start answering them in the coming weeks.
