Last week, the NJ Department of Human Services hosted its 20th Anniversary Showcase, celebrating years of leadership in advancing mental health equity and fighting stigma. NAMI NJ was honored to attend and reflect on the legacy of the late Sylvia Axelrod, who was posthumously awarded the Legacy Award for Anti-Stigma Leadership.

Board President Mark T. Williams, BSN, RN-BC, participated in a panel on the Stigma-Free Zone Learning Collaborative, sharing insights on faith-based mental health support.
