Is everything blurry up close? Do you need to hold things far away to read? Do you need to increase the font on your devices? After the age of 40, most of us will experience these problems. As we increase in age, our focal point gets further away from our eyes. This phenomenon is called presbyopia. Fun fact: While carrots are great for overall health, they actually aren't the most beneficial vegetable for eye health. Studies show that leafy green vegetables such as kale, spinach, and swiss chard are the most beneficial in preserving vision, especially in those with macular degeneration!
