We have been receiving an increase in phone calls (more than average) and I cannot seem to keep up with getting back to everyone individually... I wanted to create a post to inform everyone (at least on this page) moving forward that we are no longer providing services. We are excitedly expecting our 4th baby in December and made the decision in May to honor my role as wife and mom in the home above a career.
I cannot say what the future holds at this time but I will be using this page to keep a home base for all things local related to: child development, sensory and nature-based play, and Jesus. Thank you to everyone that trusted us this year with caring and servicing your families.

I had plans to create trainings as an OT because there is no “go to” for parents to be directed to for help at home. (At least to my knowledge!) It’s almost as if sensory education and “all things OT” are hidden from the average family unless receiving services and working with a therapist directly-and even then somtimes carryover into the home is not implemented for various reasons…

See, I had those plans until two certified occupational therapy assistants already did that for me in THEE best way! Easy to understand content not only for therapists but everyday parents like you and me dealing with unwanted behaviors and difficulties in routine and struggling because really their children do not qualify or maybe they haven’t met the right fit for a therapist.

Whatever the reason, I have the answer.

I did not have to create the material because these beautiful moms did it up to perfection and I would be crazy to try and reinvent the wheel!

It’s April 1st and it is also OT Month! This month we will coordinate the alphabet with learning some OT terms. A is for ADLs or activities of daily living which vary based on a child’s age & development. Think getting dressed//undressed, eating/drinking independently with utensils/cup use, putting away toys, following a bedtime routine to brush teeth/hair- put on jammies- bed at consitent time.

What are some areas of strength in terms of ADLs for your kiddo?! 💪🏻😃 My three year old has some mad fine motor skills but struggles with using utensils bc she lovvvves feeling applesauce in her hands 😝

It’s not about the 🐰 you know… ✝️

As we prepare our hearts for this weekend filled with baskets and bunnies please don’t forget to share the most joyous news of all time with them! Sure, we plan on a few egg hunts but reading God’s word with my littles this morning and creating the tomb was a great way to share the true meaning of Easter: God so loved us he sent his Son to die for us.

I am hoping these kits can be a tangible way to do just that for some kiddos that learn better hands on while someone is reading.
