Employee Spotlight: Meet Lindsey Zacharias
We are excited to shine a spotlight on one of the newest members of our team, Lindsey Zacharias. Lindsey has joined Absolute Home Health & Hospice as the Account Executive for the Southeastern Region. In this role, she helps connect patients, families, and providers with the compassionate care and services we offer. Her background, passion, and dedication to helping others make her a perfect fit for our mission of serving the community with excellence and heart.
Lindsey has always been drawn to a profession where she could make a difference in the lives of others. She shared, “I have always wanted a job that would give me the ability to help others. Being a Home Health Aide at a young age showed me that home health and hospice is a way I could give back—and for me, it has been the most rewarding career I could have chosen.” A quote that has guided her through her career is, “Your life is worth my time,” a phrase once shared by a former coworker. For Lindsey, it is a reminder that time is a gift that should be spent helping others and making meaningful connections.
Originally from Guernsey County, Lindsey now lives near Seneca Lake where she enjoys spending time with her parents, her sister who works at a local hospital, her boyfriend, and her two dogs, R***r and Rossi, who are sibling Pointadors. In her free time, she loves visiting Niagara Falls in the fall season, though she says her hometown remains one of her favorite places because of its simplicity, community, and beauty.
Lindsey is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has set her sights on becoming a Certified Executive for Home Health and Hospice (CEHCH) in the future. She continues to grow her professional skills while remaining dedicated to serving patients with compassion. Her career in healthcare began as a Home Health Aide, a role that shaped her understanding of patient care and sparked her passion for this field. Today, she brings that same dedication to her work at Absolute.
Outside of work, Lindsey has a number of fun interests and talents. She admits that her mornings always start with the largest Starbucks coffee she can find. She plays guitar and sings, enjoys the comfort of a Texas Roadhouse Caesar Salad, and hopes to one day visit every National Park as well as travel to Germany. She also describes herself as a self-proclaimed “coffee-holic,” and loves watching Sweet Magnolias.
When asked who inspires her most, Lindsey points to her mother, who spent nearly two decades working in home healthcare. Lindsey says her mother gave selflessly both at work and at home, always putting the needs of others before her own. That example continues to guide her, both personally and professionally, as she strives to show the same kindness and dedication in her own life and career.
We are proud to welcome Lindsey to the Absolute Home Health & Hospice team and look forward to the many ways she will continue to make a difference in the lives of our patients, their families, and our community.
