Digging for Oysters!
Earlier this week, our residents had a fun yet different interactive activity to put a smile on their face. We brought the sand, water, and everything in between to us and let our residents go digging for oysters! They then made a pearl necklace out of it! How beautiful!?

Virtual Vacation #3 - our last destination for the month, was a fun city adventure!

Linda, Eileen, Theresa and Janet gathered items they would find while traveling to a city. They included items like sports gear, museum items, Broadway plays, and college degrees! The funniest item they found: A bag of trash! 🤣 What is the first item you would find in a big city!?

We had a blast bringing these virtual vacations come to life and including an interactive component to engage the residents and make it feel more life like, that we were really in these fun destinations this month!

While John has been a cook with us at Victoria Commons for 9 months he has 10 fantastic years of experience under his belt! His specialties include Italian Cuisine, Pizza, and any Pork based recipes.

The residents that chose to have their hands photographed with a flower received that picture in a frame with a beautiful prompt which they completed: "These hands have...". Its brings us so much joy to hear and recognize their stories. We connect over the our journeys that have brought us together.
