Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center

Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center Advancing biblical transformation through worship-centered counseling. Online and in-person counseling available as is our training.

We seek to advance Biblical transformation through counseling, training, and resources - onsite and online - because people matter to God and to His glory. We believe the primary way in which God transforms a person is by giving that person a greater personal understanding of Himself through Jesus Christ, and a greater practical understand of His will through the Word of Christ. We are located in Charleston, South Carolina, have multiple counselors whom are certified by A.C.B.C. God has transformed many lives and reconciled many families through LCBCC since 2003 as we have remained faithful to this biblical process for real change. We invite you to come and see if we can serve your need whether it be for counseling, counseling training, or resources.

When we lose sight of God’s greatness, our fears start to feel just as powerful as Him. Anxiety grows when we’re disconnected from the One who is actually in control.
But here’s the shift 👉
When God is rightly seen as sovereign, our over-awareness of “what could go wrong” can be transformed into awareness of how we can love and serve others instead.
Fear loses its grip when God takes His rightful place.

“Be transformed by the renewal of your mind.” – Romans 12:2
Temptation to Transformation is a men’s group designed to help men confront temptation with biblical truth, community, and hope in Christ. You don’t have to walk this road alone—transformation happens when truth is lived out together.

We all want the same three things: pleasure, promotion, and protection. We want to be happy, to experience meaningful gain in our relationships and work, and to be safe from harm and loss. Yet many of us pursue these desires in ways that leave us anxious, disappointed, or exhausted. What if the problem is not what we want, but how we pursue it? In this study, I invite you to consider Jesus Christ in a way you may never have before—by carefully observing how He pursued pleasure, promotion, and protection, and how entrusting these to the Father became the pathway to true joy, lasting significance, and eternal security.

Prayer is not an add-on to biblical counseling, it is one of its greatest distinctives. When prayer is joined with thoughtful, heart-engaging meditation on God’s Word, it becomes a powerful means of grace through which the Lord brings real and lasting change to both counselor and counselee.
Scripture calls us to pray without ceasing and to meditate on the Word day and night. These are not optional practices, they are central to faithful ministry.
Praying effectively for those you are encouraging, coaching, or counseling is essential to bearing fruit and seeing lives transformed. At Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center, prayer is the second most important mark of a faithful counselor.
Join us as we explore practical, biblical strategies for interceding well for those under your care.
Live at 10:00 AM | Rebroadcast at 8:00 PM

In the end, we all want pleasure, promotion, and protection. We want to be happy, to experience valuable gains in our relationships and work, and to be safe from harm and loss. It is the pursuit of these that leads to anxiety, anger and exhaustion. What if one of the problems is what we seek, but how we seek it? In this study, I invite you to consider Jesus Christ in a way you may never have before. https://conta.cc/492wkfr

“I didn’t know it could be any different… but now I have hope.”
Through biblical counseling at Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center, this counselee learned to stop reacting, controlling, and carrying fear alone and instead run to God’s Word, pour out her heart, and trust His promises.

Her fear isn’t completely gone but it’s no longer in control. And for the first time in her Christian life, she now knows hope is possible.
This is why LCBCC exists.
As we close out the year, we are raising support so that no one is turned away from Christ-centered, biblical care due to finances.
Would you partner with us today and help bring hope, healing, and truth to those who are suffering?

Feasting on the Seven Hopes of the Heaven-Bound Saint 🎧
In a world where discouragement is constant, God has given His people sustaining, soul-strengthening hope. When we learn to feast on His promises, it changes how we endure trials, obey faithfully, and persevere with confidence.
This audio series walks through seven biblical hopes God uses to anchor our hearts:
At Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center, many counselees have found that cultivating these biblical hopes has strengthened their faith, steadied them through trials, and renewed their desire to walk faithfully with Christ.
🙏 Our prayer is that this gift would encourage you to listen, meditate, share with others, and anchor your heart in the promises of God, for He cannot lie (Titus 1:2).
Enjoy this gift, share it freely, and let these promises shine on your path as you persevere to the glory of God (Hebrews 10:36).
