Palliative care is about comfort, dignity, and quality of life. And honestly, massage therapy deserves a much bigger seat at that table.

What are the top 3 ways palliative care patients benefit from massage?

Pain Relief:
Gentle massage can help reduce muscle tension, stiffness, and physical discomfort without adding more medication to the mix.

Reduced Anxiety + Stress:
Human touch matters. Massage helps calm the nervous system, ease anxiety, and create moments of peace during incredibly difficult seasons.

Better Connection to the Body:
When someone is going through a serious illness, it’s easy to feel disconnected from one's own body. Massage can provide comfort, grounding, and a sense of care that goes beyond words, flowers or chores being done.
