🔥 It hit 103°F today (SC) and tomorrow’s looking like 100°F — serious heat, y’all. Please take care of yourselves and others. Here’s how to stay smart and safe:

💧 Hydrate like it’s your job.
• Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
• Add electrolytes if you’re sweating a lot (think coconut water, electrolyte packets, or a pinch of salt + squeeze of lemon in water).

🍉 Eat water-rich foods:
• Watermelon, cucumbers, oranges, grapes, strawberries — they help you hydrate AND cool down.
• Light meals are better: salads, smoothies, grilled veggies.

🚫 Avoid:
• Alcohol & caffeine — they dehydrate you fast.
• Heavy or salty foods — they raise your body temp and make you feel sluggish.
• Sugary drinks — they can spike blood sugar and worsen dehydration.

🧢 Stay cool:
• Wear light, breathable clothing.
• Take breaks in the shade or AC.
• Don’t overdo outdoor activity, especially midday.
