I have been a North Carolina licensed Massage Therapist (License # 4816) since July 2004, graduating from Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC. In fall of that year I started my business in Asheville. From fall of 2014 to December 2022, I worked at a physical therapy office in Cary, NC. In the fall of 2022, I got my South Carolina massage license (License #13012). In December 2022, we moved to North Charleston and I have recently started my business at Petersen Chiropractic Park Circle at 5122 N. Rhett, North Charleston, SC. I focus on helping people improve their lives through the wellness that comes with massage. If you want a relaxation massage, I can do that. If you have a specific issue or concern stemming from repetitive use, surgery or an injury, I can help with that too. I am happy to take direction from your doctor, physical therapist or chiropractor so that you get the best results as you recover. I offer Swedish/Neuromuscular Integrated Massage. When I am doing the Neuromuscular aspect of the massage, I will work within your tolerance whether that be light pressure or deep to break up those areas of tension that I find.
