While I was out of office on a trip, Bianca stepped up in my absence and helped out the entire department despite her mountain of work in medical records. She handles her workload so gracefully and never complains when asked to help in other areas. I am thankful to have Bianca on our team and appreciate all she does whether that is handling medical record requests, scheduling IMEs or phone calls, helping out upfront, handling some scheduling voicemails, the list goes on. Thank you Bianca!

Happy Nurse Practitioner Week! Today we are celebrating Morgan Rubenstein, Nurse Practitioner at South Carolina Sports Medicine. Morgan has spent her entire career in the nursing field, starting out as a patient care technician on the Neuroscience intermediate care unit at MUSC. Post graduation, Morgan worked in the Neuroscience ICU at MUSC which is where she found her passion for nursing. She started her Nurse Practitioner career in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine, where her love for people and helping others during their most vulnerable times was only reaffirmed. We are so grateful to have Morgan on our team!

"I called Vicki to ask her about a Federal BCBS insurance and authorization for a CT. I just wanted to verify they didn't require prior authorization. Vicki took the time to call the insurance for me before I could even ask for her help, so that we could get a patient in for a stat CT scan at Tricounty Radiology. She did not hesitate to call for me, knowing I had 4 other patients checked in, waiting to be brought back. Vicki is the most selfless coworker and friend, especially when it comes to helping others. She is always ready to jump into action and help wherever she is needed."
